Our approach.

Accurate, compliant, expert analysis as standard.

When pension assets are part of a financial settlement, accurate, compliant expert analysis isn’t a “nice-to-have”, it’s increasingly expected and often essential in practice.

At The PODE, we work with family law firms, mediators and other divorce specialists across the UK to deliver technically robust and court-ready pension reports with clarity, precision and reliability.

Why Partner with The PODE?

We understand the pressures you face - tight timelines, client expectations, and the duty to ensure settlements are fair and defensible. Our approach is built around these core professional priorities:

1. Efficient, Responsive Service

We prioritise speed without compromising quality. Once we have all required pension information, reports are typically delivered in 10 working days.

We also allocate a dedicated case worker to each instruction, provide weekly progress updates and chase pension providers proactively to minimise delays

This means you can manage client expectations confidently and keep matters moving.

2. Technical Rigor You Can Trust

Our reports are fully compliant with current guidance and ready for use in negotiations, mediation, consent orders and court proceedings

They include clear valuation analysis, income projections, comparison of options (including offsetting vs sharing), and recommendations tailored to the case facts.

We produce PAG2-compliant expert reports that your clients can read and understand, cutting through jargon with diagrams and visual explainers where helpful.

3. Neutral and Defensible Evidence

As pension specialists, we act as neutral analysts, not advocates - ensuring that reports are impartial and focussed on facts, methodology is transparent and defensible and conclusions support fair outcomes

This independence enhances the credibility of the evidence you present to the court, mediators or opposing parties.

4. Ongoing Support and Communication

We aim to be more than a report provider, we are a partner throughout the pension aspect of the case.

As a professional connection you’ll receive direct telephone and email support, technical assistance on pension issues. timely answers to follow-up questions and access to our insights and best practice checklists

So if something in the report prompts questions from you or your client, we’re here to help.

We will review your application to ensure there is alignment in our values. Once complete, we’ll add you to our directory.

  • Use our dedicated email address for divorce professionals - professionals@thepode.co.uk - for priority turnaround times on fee estimates

  • Send your letter of instruction to professionals@thepode.co.uk. We will review this within 48 hours

  • You’ll get a checklist of exactly the documents we need to get started. We do a daily review the documents you send us as they arrive so we can come back to you quickly if there are any gaps.

  • We take payment on account of £475 plus VAT per ‘side’ for all work. We are happy that this be paid by one side or both sides separately.

The balance is due when the report is ready to be written.
